Chiropractic Care and Conditions
What does a chiropractor treat?
CORE Health Florida evaluates and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions that can affect movement, comfort and daily activity. Common concerns include back pain, neck pain, sciatica, TMJ dysfunction, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, headaches, hip problems, disc bulges and herniations, carpal tunnel symptoms, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, rotator cuff injuries, shin splints, mobility limitations and sports-related injuries. Care begins with an assessment to determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and which treatment options are appropriate.
Does CORE treat sciatica, TMJ and plantar fasciitis?
Yes. These are three primary areas of focus, supported by dedicated condition pages with more detailed information about evaluation and available treatment options.
Do you treat sciatica?
CORE evaluates patients experiencing sciatica and related lower back, buttock and leg symptoms such as pain, burning, tingling or numbness. Your assessment may include the lower back, pelvis, hips, mobility and movement patterns to help determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and whether conservative chiropractic and rehabilitative care may be appropriate.
Can chiropractic care be used for TMJ discomfort?
Yes. TMJ symptoms may involve musculoskeletal factors affecting the jaw, surrounding muscles, neck or posture. CORE evaluates jaw discomfort, tightness, clicking, restricted movement, headaches and neck tension to determine whether conservative care may fit your situation.
Do you work with plantar fasciitis?
Yes. CORE can assess foot and ankle mobility, calf flexibility, loading patterns, movement mechanics and activity demands, then recommend appropriate mobility, strengthening, rehabilitation or other conservative strategies. Shockwave therapy may also be considered when appropriate.
Shockwave Therapy
What is Shockwave Therapy?
It is a noninvasive treatment that delivers controlled acoustic waves into targeted soft tissue and musculoskeletal areas. It may be used to support the body’s response to selected tendon, muscle and fascia problems.
Can Shockwave Therapy help plantar fasciitis?
Shockwave Therapy is commonly used as a nonsurgical treatment option for persistent plantar fasciitis. Your assessment determines whether it is appropriate for your specific condition.
Can Shockwave Therapy help TMJ pain?
It may be considered when muscular and soft-tissue factors contribute to TMJ dysfunction. CORE evaluates the cause of your symptoms first because jaw pain can have multiple sources.
Can Shockwave Therapy help sciatica?
Sciatica can involve nerve irritation or compression, so proper evaluation matters. Shockwave may sometimes be used for related muscular or soft-tissue problems, while other aspects of care address the underlying cause.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal schedule. Recommendations depend on your condition, how long you have had it, your examination findings and how your body responds.
Is there downtime?
Many patients return to normal daily activity after treatment, although temporary soreness or tenderness can occur.
