Target the pain. Stimulate recovery. Move forward.

Targeted acoustic-wave therapy for stubborn soft-tissue problems, plantar fasciitis, TMJ-related muscle pain and active recovery, delivered through CORE’s assessment-first approach.

Move. Restore. Thrive.

WHAT IS SHOCKWAVE THERAPY?

A non-invasive approach to stubborn pain and

soft-tissue problems.

Shockwave Therapy, also called acoustic wave therapy, uses controlled acoustic pulses to target irritated or slow-healing tissue. At CORE, it is used selectively as one tool inside a larger plan built around how you move, where you hurt and what you want to get back to doing.

Reduced musculoskeletal pain

Improved mobility

Soft-tissue recovery support

Minimal disruption to your routine

Assessment First. Treatment Second.

Where you hurt is only part of the story.

Dr. Jonathan Scott evaluates your symptoms, movement, history and physical demands before recommending treatment. Shockwave Therapy is used when the findings support it, not simply because the area hurts.

BUILT FOR ACTIVE LIVES

Pain relief matters.

What you can do

afterward matters more.

CORE is built for people who want to stay active.

That may mean getting back to golf, returning to the gym, running without heel pain, training without constant compensation or simply moving through the day more comfortably.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What patients want to know

  • What is Shockwave Therapy?

It is a noninvasive treatment that delivers controlled acoustic waves into targeted soft tissue and musculoskeletal areas. It may be used to support the body’s response to selected tendon, muscle and fascia problems.

  • Can Shockwave Therapy help plantar fasciitis?

Shockwave Therapy is commonly used as a nonsurgical treatment option for persistent plantar fasciitis. Your assessment determines whether it is appropriate for your specific condition.

  • Can Shockwave Therapy help TMJ pain?

It may be considered when muscular and soft-tissue factors contribute to TMJ dysfunction. CORE evaluates the cause of your symptoms first because jaw pain can have multiple sources.

  • Can Shockwave Therapy help sciatica?

Sciatica can involve nerve irritation or compression, so proper evaluation matters. Shockwave may sometimes be used for related muscular or soft-tissue problems, while other aspects of care address the underlying cause.

  • How many sessions will I need?

There is no universal schedule. Recommendations depend on your condition, how long you have had it, your examination findings and how your body responds.

  • Is there downtime?

Many patients return to normal daily activity after treatment, although temporary soreness or tenderness can occur.
